So I turned 17 yesterday. Not too terribly exciting.
That boy gave me the most beautiful flowers. Wild flowers. They're like fire.
I don't like roses or any other fancy kinda flower. They're trying to be something they're not.
Oh, but these flowers are pretty! Like fire... but I said that already.
Do you know what this day is? Graduation. This is terrible. I am happy for them... but I will miss them. I don't know how I can possibly live without Drum Major and Gay Manwhore. I realized yesterday when all of the seniors were gone how empty the band room is. It's just me left in my corner. Gay Manwhore doesn't try to put his stuff there. Drum Major and I can't do weird stuff. Ma Soeur can't help me clean the uniform room. It's lonely. Sure, I have other friends in band, I guess, but not any I love as well...
So this is where it begins. Duty before everything else.
I must email Mr. Purple to figure out when he will have time to give me DM lessons. Which determines whether or not I get to go home, really. Otherwise, I leave next Thursday.
Right now, I just want to go home. But that's selfish when there are 120 people depending on me to lead them and to know what I'm doing.
This is making me ill.
Movies That I Have Seen Recently
-Troy: Highly entertaining, but not what I would call a good movie. Oh, but Naked!Orlando and Naked!Brad are worth the ticket price.
-The Matrix Revolutions: I happen to know quite a few people that enjoy all three movies. The first one was great. The second one sucked. This one receives the title of being the Worst Movie I Have Ever Seen. Really. Jesus Fuck, It was almost like James Cameron wrote the script and John Wayne taught them how to act. Just Bad. It makes me angry to think about it. There was no point to this movie. Just... no.
-Lost in Translation: I just expected this movie to be better. It was... okay I guess.
-Bowling for Columbine: CHARLTON HESTON IS A BASTARD. This was a great documentary. Michael Moore is awesome. However, I think it could have been put together a little better, but everything he put in there was... important.
Have also rented Girl With a Pearl Earring, Kill Bill-Vol 1, and The Missing. So yeah.
Why don't I get to graduate and leave....
